I am using suse linux for the first time and I can not it to see the modem wich is a Creative V92. on com3 (windows) Can anyone help as Creative do not do a Linux driver for this modem.

It appears that the Creative driver uses the Connexant chipset. The driver for this modem can be found at http://www.linuxant.com. The free driver is, however, limited to 28K (I think). They want you to pay $14.95 to get full speed from the driver.

for $15 or £15 which ever you could prob buy a full speed US Robotics thats works with both OSs
