problem-opengl applications-xfree86 4.3 with sis 300/305
hi
i installed suse 9.1 recently .the kernel version is 2.6.4-52-default. i have got a sis 300/305 graphics card and XFree86 4.3.99 .When i ran glxgears it gave me the error :
SIS driver : out of video memory
Fatal errors in sis_dri.so
glxinfo tells that DRI is enabled. when i run any application which uses opengl the computer simply freezes and i have to switch off the power supply-cannot go to text mode or do anything.
can someone help me?

Because the sis driver is obsolet, someone has coded a sis driver but there are no OpenGL support : http://www.winischhofer.at/linuxsisvga.shtml#download good bye and sorry for the late
