I have a problem with my soundcard, iam using Fedora Core 3 and Intel desktop board D915GAV, when iam running soundcard detection its said "No soundcards were detected" and when iam run lsmod there is no module for sound on list.
I have tried install driver that i download from intel, but it does'nt work at all..
i also have tried install alsa 1.0.7 and when i run alsaconf it detect as intel sound card and using modula snd-azx but when
setting default volume...
its going hang..
i also install alsa-lib and alsa-utils on my system

when i reboot my system, it cannot boot properly and going hang..
finally i can boot normaly when i uninstall alsa driver from linux rescue (using CD1).

i hope anyone can help me for this problem...
