Power fail?

Tried to boot on network install cd but same happens.
Could it be my power supp that has failed?

So, it won't boot from local hard drive, and it won't boot from a CD/DVD/USB drive? It could be a power supply problem, or something with the BIOS is there was a power surge (lightning strike) even with the system shut down. Did anything like that happen, to your recollection. Can you boot into the BIOS?

Hi Rubberman and thanx for the help,
It was the power supply that failed. The server has been up and running for several years and it just gave up after shutdown.
What I could see was that the fans did not spin as they should and it took a while before disks started to spin, just to reboot after aprox 30 sec.
I disconnected all harddrives and fans started to spin up a bit so I suspected a power supp fail.
Now its up and running!
