I need to get a usb scanner attached to a mandrake linux 10.0 workstation to map over to a terminal server. We're using rdesktop to connect to a windows 2000 and windows 2003 terminal server. Is it possible? If not, would a usb to serial adapter work? I know the rdp5 in windows server 2003 supports com port mapping but I dont know if samba can share a com port. I'm not too sure how it would work.
