Errors in booting with my saa7134 tv tuner

I am checking my boot log trying to diagnose what is wrong with that system which does not recognize my KWorld pci / atsc pc150-u video tuner / fm tuner card.

    The boot log shows these

I think this problem might be solved by a kernel upgrade, or by using a version of Linux that uses the latest kernel. According to this CARDLIST, native support is provided by kernel 3.5. Linux Kernel Documentation :: video4linux : CARDLIST.saa7134. It is possible to replace your linux kernel in your distro by building the latest one from source, but if you are not up to that, you might try one of the distros that do use the latest kernel. Distrowatch gives a list of these here: http://distrowatch.com/search.php?pk....5.3#pkgsearch

I have Debian Squeeze back ported to Kernel 3.2 i do not think debian would support a kernel as new as 3.5. Should i manually patch my current kernel, try to manually update again, or something i have not thought of.

I think they try to make the newer Linux kernels as much backwards compatible as possible, so you may want to try building the 3.5.3 kernel from source. No need to get rid of the old one; if 3.5 doesn't work out for you you can always go back to the old kernel.

I don't know how much you have invested in Debian, but you could always try one of the up-to-date distros like Archlinux or Mageia.
