    Advice on DVD Burner, Printer/Scanner drivers, etc.

    Hello all,

    I'm considering adding some new hardware to my system, and need some advice on brands/models that are most compatible. The upgrades I want to install are 1) a DVD Burner, and 2) an internal 3.5" bay 7-in-1 card reader. Can anyone give some advice as to which brands/models would work without issues on a MDK 10.1 system? Also, I have a Lexmark X1150 Printer/Scanner, and I don't know how to make Mandrake recognize the scanner so that I can use it (also, which software works well for importing scanned files?).Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays!

    Any. Brand will have no effect here. As far as a printer/scanner I can not help. I use HP only....
    Oh, with the DVD bunner question. I do not suggest a SATA bunner. It is a ***** to get and work.
