Just use fdisk. Assume your usb drive is /dev/sdx, then do this: fdisk /dev/sdx Next, use the 'o' command to create a new/empty partition table....

Next, use the 'o' command to create a new/empty partition table.Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
