    Printing problem

I recently upgrade to mint 14 from ubuntu 11.10. My issue is I need to be able to see the time and date and page count on the bottom of my printouts. I had a backup of my pref.js file and replaced it after the new install. I also upgraded hplip to 3.12.5 and have tweeked my about:config settings with no success. When I examine a page it seems as though there is a 2 inch space along the bottom that i can't seem to modify. Any ideas?

As a test I installed chrome. I still have the same issue. I printed a few pages in landscape mode and can the headers and footers, but I still have the 2 inch spaces. Now they are just on the left and right instead of top and bottom.
