    Well, if you're gonna braze / weld / tack / brad / bailing wire some monster together then you just need the min/max/apparent/sustained V/W and connector to match the MoBo / CPU / system and the wiring harness to be long enough.

    Only if I have no other choice. I would probably just set it off to the side if it didn't fit. My case opens from the side. I often do that with HDD's if I don't wanna switch out the installed one such as I might only use the drive for a day.
