Hi, Im new to Linux Ive just installed Ubuntu 10.04lts and tried to made Kozumi K-1500PCI wireless N PCI adapter chipset ralink 3062 to work.

    I made this steps:

    2> In Makefile
set the "MODE = STA" in Makefile and chose the TARGET to Linux by set "TARGET = LINUX"
define the linux kernel source include file path LINUX_SRC
    modify to meet your need.

    3> In os/linux/

    4> $make

    $make install

    5> $cp RT2860STA.dat /etc/Wireless/RT2860STA/RT2860STA.dat

    modprobe rt2860sta

In networks tools I get this: ( mac adress is present)

    wifi linux.jpg

    Wht Im doing wrong?

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
Go to to find the drivers, firmware, and instructions for this chip set. It seems you are building the driver from source, which is not really advisable unless you have some kernel module building experience. There are two parts you need. One is the driver, the other is the firmware. I assume the .dat file is the firmware, but I don't think you are copying it to the right place, though I'm not 100% sure of that.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
