    CAnnot write into DVD+RW

    Hi,

I have to back up the archived data from Linux 2.4 server into DVD + RW everyday.

All these days I was using the media type dvd +r 8x.And it was going smooth. But today when i used the media DVD +RW, the backup seemingly be done , but I couldnt see any data on the DVD when i explored with windows XP laptop.

The commands used in script are

    mkisofs -r -o $HOME......................
    &
    sudo growisofs -Z /dev/dvd =$HOME/...................

When i initiated the backup it didnt give me any warning/error.But today morning when i explored that in my laptop(Windows XP) the DVD is empty.

Any suggestions to write the archives into the media successfully?

    Thanks
    Nalni
