zr70 Linux
I have tried to capture video (using Kino and Cinelerra) from my Cannon zr70 over FireWire
I have installed all the necessary programs (using Gentoo), and Kino seems to run fine
When I first started Kino, it said something about read-write access to /dev/raw1934, so I chmodded it.
Now it says it can't find an AV/C complient device
lspci shows my firewire PCMCIA card
The camera is on, and I even tried booting with it in
Every firewire option is compiled into the kernel
Anybody know what is wrong?
