    Dell Soundblaster Live (emu10k1x) - Help Please

    I cannot for the life of me get the proper ALSA driver installed. I followed all the instructions on the ALSA project website but still no luck. Maybe I misinterpreted a step or two?

    If someone would kindly give me a step-by-step (or close to it) for installing this driver, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

    BTW: Running Mandrake 10.1 (if it matters)

    Hello! I have a DELL SB Live, too! Where are these "instructions" on ALSA project website ? I also have problems with this sound card !
