supported SATA PCI cards
HI, newbie here.

I want to purchase 5 250GB Hard Drives to put into my RAID array.
Already have 1 open SATA slot on the Motherboard.
Plenty of open PCI cards.
Trying to double check that my plan of purchasing 2, 2 port SATA PCI cards will let me build my array. Any ideas on what cards are supported would be appreciated.

Not much to say.. I would go w/promise. Remember that software RAID is not a real RAID. You will wont to have a up2date kernel or a driver tailerd to the kernel version being used.
I would like to see it. If its money then I understand but any thing else would be a joke.I have already made the decision I prefer to run Software RAID. ( Already been through all the discussionBe kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
