Install IBM Ethernet Adapter
Hi.
I have an older computer, a Pentium II 350MHz, in which I am installing Fedora Core 3. In it, it has an IBM 100/10 ISA Ethernet Adapter (model 25H3501). However, it was not reconized by the installer.
Has anyone installed this type of device in linux? How does one going about doing so?
I have googled this but have had little luck.
Thanks in advance.

When I enteredt ifconfig, I was given the following:
lo
Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr: 127.0.0.1 Mask 255.0.0.0
inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU: 16436 Metric:1
RX packets:2130 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:2130 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:2596654 (2.4 MiB) TX bytes:2596654 (2.4 MiB)
Not sure if this helps, but when I went to the Hardware Browser, I found that there was a listing under Unknown Devices: IBM FEI - @H@0000. I'm assuming thats the ethernet adapter.

Well, I found out that getting a ISA device to work is more trouble than its worth, so I am just going to go out and buy a cheap NIC.
Thanks for all your help.
