VIA VT8237 on 2.6.10 possible?
I'm trying to find source or a workaround in order to get my VIA VT8237 IDE controller working properly with my 2.6.10 kernel so that my system will run at a decent speed. Does anybody know if this is possible? The VIA823cxxx driver doesn't work.
Thanks.

Try the alsa-drivers. They are already included with the kernel.
