    SoundBlaster Audigy

    Has anyone ever realy been able to make audigy work with 5.1 surround speakers. I have tried all kind of mixer setups and I can't make it work. When I run speaker-test -c 5.1 I get sound only from front left and front right same with speaker-test -c 6. I'm seriously begining to doubt that the driver doesn't support 5.1 surround.

    I dont know if i have 5.1 but can you tell me if you have inputs? I have sound blaster audigy 2 zs but i cant configure it. I need to use Teamspeak(voicechat program) and i cant get it work right because i dont have inputs plz some help us

    Indeed. I don't have imputs either. I reasently upgraded my suse 9.2 to 9.3 so it might be there. (What have they done wrong)

    I tried alsamixer in console and i fixed all, i think you should try 2, it worked for me.

    Don't think so I have been using that all the time. I have tried all different mixer setups and nothing works. I'm seriously thinking that linux driver sucks and there is not good support for sounbdlaster audigy
