    problem when using SuSE 9.3 live cd, please help?

    hi guys, i'm using mandrake 10.0 now (dual boot w/ winXP ), i can play music on my mandrake after i use SuSE 9.3 live evaluation CD. i don't know what happen, please help me? i've try to set the sound card on the MCC and nothing changes, but i still can't hear any sound. btw, i use asus A7V8X-X mobo.

    Before you run the livecd you can listen to music.
    After you run the livecd, you can't hear anything.
    Does the music appear to play, and you just can't hear it?

    If so, try "alsamixer", unmute any thing that is muted.
    Then do "alsactl store" to save the work.
