Floppy dead+Linux not working with differnet boot manager
when i try to write to a floppy on my old computer, it says that the disk is wtite protected. I check the disk and write protect is off. i have tried another disk, another floppy drive and another floppy cable to no avail.
also on the same computer, i had win98 and mandrake 10.0 working fine until i updated 98 to SE. LILO was overwritten so i had to get another boot manager. i tried Xosl and Osl2000 but the system freezes when i try to boot Mandrake.
