Hello,
Has anyone ever used a KVM Switch - LINDY CPU Switch Compact USB on Linux (particularly on Mandrake 10). Can it be used, is it supported?
Thanx in advance!...

No I have not used this device, however, at the link you have given there is a down-loadable PDF manual or maybe you could contact them to find out if it supported.
Research, research, research before you walk the plank.

I read the peripheral's manual and technical specification before I asked the question and contacting them required to provide data like my address, which I found absurd given the simplicity of the question.
The device works on Mandrake 10.1

A lot of these KVMs come with some virtual signals to prevent non hotswap OSes from freaking out and even those that do from redetecting. I have used switchboxes on Mandrake and Slack and had no problems at all.
