Audigy 2 and ati radeon X300
It seems I cant get KDE To play sound on my audigy2 or recognize my ati radeon x300 card. Any help would be appreciated as Im trying to stray as far from needing to use windows as possible..

the audigi2 dose work in linux
check the ati.com for the linux drivers and the howto unless you are on gentoo then the drivers are in portage~Mike ~~~ Forum Rules

got sound now video..
I got the sound card working. It was operator error I didnt have analog/digital enabled. As far as the video card IM still working on that.

now mind you this is not the best driver in the world...but it is all there is for the newer cards

Well theres re-install #1
I tried to load the wrong ati drivers, and jacked my kernal up so I had to re-load. O well its good expiereince. But thanks for your help Im trying again I will tell you'all what happens when im done.
