trouble with bttv tuner
Hi I installed a tv card in my Suse 9.3.
it is a BestBuy Easy TV with a Philips NTSC MK3 (FM1236MK3 or FM1236/F) tuner.
when I do a scantv, it only comes up with three channels: lifetime, E! and Comdy Central.
when I tested the card on Windows, I got every channel up to about 100. so, I know that
1. the tv signal is good
2. the card and tuner works
3. event he channel freq table agrees
so, why am I only getting three channels? if there is something wrong with my setup, I should at least get 0 channels to indicate that.
any one has any ideas?
Thanks

Google's cache of freevo help might work. Look down at the list at the bottom of the page, and run the command that will be similar to:
hope that helpsCode:modprobe card=64 tuner=2

I know and have tried all the necessary settings. otherwise, I would not have gotten the three channels even. but why only three and not the other channels?
