    Sound problem in Suse 9.1

I have a cmedia 8738 5.1 sound card. I get perfect sound out of my 2 front and 2 rear speaker but i get distorted sound on my centre speaker, it works 100% in windows xp so theres nothing wrong with the speakers, the card detects. Any ideas?
