    Pinacle tv tuner sound problem


    Hi! I'm a linux newbie and I have problems getting my Pinacle tv tuner card to work with fedora core 3. I can see the image, but I can't hear anything. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    do you know what driver the card uses? Is it the bttv one?

    Could you paste the output of the command:

    try removing the
    snd_bt87x
    module.

    Code:
    rmmod snd_bt87x
    then also just check a few mixer levels.

    What i found was that after removing this module, i also NEEDED to ensure that:

    "Line-In As Bass"
    and
    "Line-In As Rear"

    were set "Off" in order to get sound out.
