Hey, I´m going to build my own pc and I have a question regarding the HD's. The one I´m currently using is IDE, the one I´m getting is SATA. I can connect them both but I think my old IDE 5400 rpm disk is going to be a bottleneck (and it´s very noisy) so I want to copy everything to my new HD. I wondered if that´s easy/difficult and how do I do it?
Maybe it´s nice if I posted what I´m going to buy:
Epox 9NPA+ Ultra
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ ('Venice' core)
Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 (250 GB)
Zalman CNPS 7000B-AICu
Asus Extreme N6200TC-256TD (VGA,DVI,TV-Out)
Enermax NT375AX SFMA
Plextor PX740A (DVD-writer) (Already have a DVD-Player)
Sharkoon Silent Eagle fans.
(I still need a new case though, I´ve asked that question on another forum )
I´m using FC 4.
Thanks in advance
