I have one of these scanners and am trying to get it to work. It is being loaded I believe, here is the output of dmesg...
parport: PnPBIOS parport detected.
parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x77, irq 7 [PCSPP,TRISTATE]
lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven).
lp0: console ready
ppdev: user-space parallel port driver
ppdev0: registered pardevice
ppdev0: unregistered pardevice
But when I do xsane in the konsole it finds no devices. Also I can't access Xsane in Gimp. I am on Fedora Core 4. I am gonna check Bios and make sure that is setup correctly. So I need help in getting this up and running.
