    i dont know about on board USB, but maybe if you bougth a USB card it would work.

    Don't know if you still have this problem or PC setup, but as your thread was helpful to get my setup going under linux I thought I would tell you what I figured out by trial and error. I just started different settings under the USB function in my BIOS until I disabled the USB keyboard and it is working now. Problem is I don't know what to do if PS/2 stops working on mobo and I have to use USB.
