Nvidia TwinView not working
Hi folks...
I'm new to linux and I'm trying to configure a dual monitor setup... I've finally managed to get my Nvidia driver working, but I'm having issues with TwinView. Both monitors are recognised during startup, but when X starts I lose one. I'm using 2 17" Sony SMD-X73 screens.
I've posted my XF86Config file if anyone can have a guess at what I'm missing. I've waded through google and various message boards, but I'l still at a bit of a loss and very confused!
I also get the following line in my log fileCode:# XFree86 4 configuration created by redhat-config-xfree86 Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "CRT-0" 0 0 Screen 1 "DFP-1" 0 0 InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" InputDevice "DevInputMice" "AlwaysCore" EndSection Section "Files" # RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Note, this is the name of the # file minus the extension (like ".txt" or ".db"). Not sure if this is part of the problem, but you have this..
Code:Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "CRT-0" 0 0 Screen 1 "DFP-1" 0 0
DFP = Digital Flat Panel..trying changing it to CRT...who knows?
