Hard disk access times
Hi,
Im looking into alternative hard-disk methods. Which is the fastest currently in terms of read/write mb per sec? Im thinking about:
A RAID 0 with 2 x 80gb IDE drives
A 160gb SATA disk
or, a bit of a suprise guest, a 2gb compact flash drive with an IDE connection...
How does the RAID 0 stack up against a single SATA?
and does solid state / compact flash = faster access times?
Any figures or advice appriciated!
