TV-Out + Linux = ??
I'm wondering if there is a way to use the TV-Out on my Sapphire 9600XT card on Linux. This is the only thing that is bothering me about Linux, since I use my PC to watch my movies. If this is possible, can you please give a step-by-step on how to make it work, since I'm a newbie. Thanks.

I'm not sure I can help you, but I am curious - I don't believe I have had the opportunity to "mess with" an on-video-card TV signal output such as this - I thought this was handled completely in hardware (on the card). What exactly, if anything, do you get out of it? -- a black screen? raster/white noise? dead-silence?

Nothing comes out of it. On Windows there was a program to enable the TV-Out, set the resolution for it, etc. I'm guessing I need a similar program for Linux, or maybe some sort of command.
