I just ran memtest86 on my Dell Inspiron 1200 Laptop and I am confused by the information it provided me.
It says that FSB is 99 MHz...that sounds too slow...is ...

memtest86 info questions...
I just ran memtest86 on my Dell Inspiron 1200 Laptop and I am confused by the information it provided me.
It says that FSB is 99 MHz...that sounds too slow...is that the same as ide speed?
Ram shows 79MHz...I am pretty sure this machine uses PC2700 RAM which is 333MHz.
Does anyone know if these are correct? If they aren't, how do I fix them?

which version are you using? the version which came with your distro ? fsb is the front side bus, which is controlled either on your motherboard or in your bios.check these locations to see if they are correct
