Xen windowsxp
Im going to run Windows XP on a gentoo linux box as soon as the new proccessors from Intel come out with vanderpool tech (that will allow win to run on xen). I have no experiance with virtualisation or with windows. So, I was wondering if running winXP on a gentoo box via Xen would allow me to, for example, run xp on a different display and use windows games and other software such as photoshop etc while running gentoo on the other display as my main workstation.. what do you think of that?

Well from what I hear and have seen, that'll be up to the way your X server is set up. It will essentially be X running on all desktops, and the guest OS runs in a window. You could divert this window to the second display and run it fullscrren I would imagine, but essentially you're still running a linux desktop on all screens.
