Im new to linux... well i've just returned to it after 3 years, and totally forgot everything :-s, i cant get online!! i think its a lucent chipset?? ... any ideas ? i have downloaded something :-s but its a .tar file and im just totally confused about the whole thing. also why im here ... i have a SiS Xabre 600 video card and i would like to know where/ if i could get that driver. Running Mandrake 9.2 if that helps, i am just using a SiS driver that came with the distro, but it keeps making the screen lock up everytime i do something too stressful with the graphics and then i have to restart :-s. if any1 can help on any of the subjects. please .
