    Need help choosing a motherboard and graphics card

    Hello,I have been a mac guy for my whole life and I have never owned a x86 pc.I am looking to take the plunge into the x86 world.I need some help choosing a amd compatible motherboard and a graphics card,it needs to be socket 754 and have pci express.I only have 250 bucks to spend on the motherboard,ram and processor(graphics card will come later).I was looking at this list on newegg and there are so many to choose from,I'm lost.What are some good motherboard brands?I really have no idea which ones are good.Anyone have any recomendations?Thanks for the help.

    On second thought,i'm gonna wait til I get paid so I can get a socket 939 motherboard.Any suggestions?

    I'd recommend looking through a few PC magazines, such as PC World. They have reviews for all pc hardware, in particular, motherboards.
