microtek i900 or microtek i700
hello,
I can not locate any information about whether Microtek i900 and/or i700 are supported under linux. I would like to use it with a Ubuntu or Fedora but any other distro is fine if there is something distro specific.
And also for reference, is the declining number of hits about scanner support on linux indicative of most scanners being supported without trouble? Last time I tried a scanner on linux was 5-6 years ago when it was a major issue.
thanks in advance

According to this search page on the website for the SANE Project, they're not. Most Linux distributions use the SANE (Scanner Access Now Easy) libraries for scanners.
