General laptop hard drive replacement question
If I have a ATA-6 hard drive installed in my laptop, will any replacement ATA-6 hard drive work? It's a Dell Inspiron 5100. Also too if I have a 5400 rpm drive currently will a 7200 be too hot? I realize that may depend on a few other variables, but generally speaking...
