About geometry on USB pendrive
Hi folks,
I have a 512M USB pendrive. It can't be booted on USD-HDD, only on USD-ZIP. Therefore I have to format the whole pendrive as zip geometry. After partioning it into 2 partitions I formatted partition_1 as msdos and partition_2 as ext2/ext3 respectively and then having /etc/fstab edited and mount points created. It was discovered that partition_2 can't be mounted. It must be formatted as msdos/vfat. Is there any solution? OR whether ext2/ext3 dosen't work on zip geometriy?
TIA
B.R.
