USB port booting problem
Hi folks,
FC3
I have following PCI USB 2.0 card;
4+1 port NEC
CK0001A/B/C
4 at the back-metal and 1 on the card
newly installed on the box. The card can be detected and setup. USB pendrive can be mounted with files retrieved/read. However the USB port can't boot. I need to boot a "DSL on a pendrive" which can be booted if plugged on the USB socket of the motherboard.
# lspci | grep USBBesides there are 4+1 ports on the PCI USB 2.0 card but only 3 detected.Code:00:0b.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) 00:0b.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) 00:0b.2 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (rev 04) 00:11.2 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1 Controller (rev 18) 00:11.3 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1 Controller (rev 18) 00:11.4 USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82xxxxx UHCI USB 1.1 Controller (rev 18)
Please advise how to make the USB ports on the card booted at starting PC.
Remark: I have tested all 4+1 ports, none of them working.
TIA
