    if you have lame then any of the multiple of players can play mp3's.

    examples include: mplayer, xine, amarok

    As this is in hardware I guess you mean portable mp3 players?

    Id like to know too. I know that most cheap memory stick style mp3 players will work, you just mount them and copy your music across. But im not sure if any of the more expensive players will do it.
