Hello everyone !
I've got a problem with my webcam. It seem to be connected to the system properly but I can't get any pictures from it. My kernel version is 2.6.15-1-k7.
After conecting to USB :
dmesg :
usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
sn9c102: V4L2 driver for SN9C10x PC Camera Controllers v1:1.24a
usb 1-2: SN9C10[12] PC Camera Controller detected (vid/pid 0x0C45/0x600D)
usb 1-2: PAS106B image sensor detected
usb 1-2: Initialization succeeded
usb 1-2: V4L2 device registered as /dev/video0
usb 1-2: Optional device control through 'sysfs' interface ready
usbcore: registered new driver sn9c102
lsmod :
usbcore 113924 6 sn9c102,usbhid,cdc_acm,ehci_hcd,ohci_hcd
The device is created as /dev/video0 but when I try to get a picture like this :
streamer -c /dev/video0 -b 16 -o outfile.jpeg
the output is:
files / video: JPEG (JFIF) / audio: none
no way to get: 320x240 JPEG (JFIF)
movie writer initialisation failed
And it doesn't work in any other application either.
If you have any suggestions or ideas what to do please email me on lanman@inmail.cz .
Thanx a lot...
