So how do I use this joystick in linux? The joystick plugs into the gameport on my Ensoniq 1371 soundcard. The soundcard works and I can use it fine. I enabled the joystick interface in the kernel config as built in. Then I enabled the gameport driver and sidewinder joystick driver as modules. I loaded both, and according to kernel documentation, I should have /dev/input/js0. I don't get any jsX's at all. I tried creating them per the instructions in the documentation, and I get a no such device error. Please help?
