1. has anybody encountered any problems with this mouse on linux? I'm not sure about this scroll panel wether it's fully compatible or not.

Looks like a standard wireless mouse to me. I've had no issues with Logitech wireless keyboards or mice in Linux (aside from getting all those special buttons at the top of the keyboard to work).

I suppose that this mouse would work alright but you never know...
