If your fstab has o floppy line than add it.(copy that line which ozar has wrote and add it into your fstab)

to create mount point in /mnt for floppy open a terminal and type:

mkdir /mnt/floppy

than edit fstab

Note:
if you use ubuntu or kubuntu type
sudo mkdir /mnt/floppy
