    Hi jan and thanks

I have just completed a reinstall of Kubuntu 6.06 to get my external hard disks mounted, and have only now received your email.

    Hi ozar

How do I create the mount point for the floppy

to create mount point in /mnt for floppy open a terminal and type:
    Code:
    mkdir /mnt/floppy
    than edit fstab

    Note:
if you use ubuntu or kubuntu type
    sudo mkdir /mnt/floppy
