Cheap Nvidia card
Could any of you recommend a cheap but reliable PCI video card that I could get from Newegg or somewhere else online? I'm trying to go with a triple monitor setup, but my current video card only supports 2 outputs...
Thanks!Flies of a particular kind, i.e. time-flies, are fond of an arrow.

One of the last PCI cards Nvidia made was the low profile Nvidia Vanta w/16mb.

If all you need is a simple pci card i'd look at any of the geforce 4x, 5x or 6x series of cards. Many are available in a pci version. I recently bought a 5200 pci for a dual monitor workstation and was pleased with the results. I believe the cost was around $45 shipped.
Or you could shop ebay and probably get one for half that price.

My FX5600 works great with Linux. They don't cost much these days, either.
