Hi
I want to get a new graphics card, I have a built in one thats kinda rubish. I play games is m$ but use linux for everything else. I know if I buy any graphics card its gonna work with m$ but is this the same for linux, are they plug and play? Or is there a list of graphics cards that work in linux? Thanks

Note that the above list is just for cards that work with the open-source X drivers. Nvidia and ATI also provide closed drivers for all of their newest chipsets. Nvidia's performance in Linux is about on par with Windows; ATI's Linux performance is considerably lower.
