Hi, all!
My modem is Motorola Surfboard Cable Modem (SB5100) and I connect it to my laptop through USB. Under Windows Internet connection exists and there's no problem in connection(ISP assigns IP address automatically) but under Linux (Slackware 10.1) there's no connection. I think I need to configure some files in Linux configuration to point out that I connect through USB. However, when I take my laptop to university and connect to Interner there through network cable, everything is ok both under Linux and Windows.
