    Unhappy Screen Resolution Stuck at 800x600


    My screen has a maximun screen resolution of 1024x768 but I cannot get it to run any higher than 800x600 does anyone know how to make my screen run at a higher resolution?

    You can change it in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Then restart X with CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE.
