LCD screen sometimes digital sometimes analog
I have a box running Debian Sid, kernel 2.6.15-1-486, Xorg, with ATI Radeon 8500 and Samsung Syncmaster 730B (LCD).
On booting sometimes the screen is in digital mode and other times in analog mode (no video).
On another box the screen enters digital mode on every boot.
I don't know if this is a hardware or a software problem.
If someone can throw some light my way it will be most appreciated.
