labtec webcam (ID 046d:0929)

I have a usb labtec webcam 046d:0929 which I am trying to set up on suse 10.1.

gnome meeting does not recognise it as a video device

I have attempted to install spca5xx (http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html) which should work but does not

I have now downloaded qc-usb-0.6.4 (http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net/) but cannot figure out how to install it.

I'm very much a newbie - keen to learn but do need CLI instructions clearly spelt out for me

Try gphoto2 - if it not recognize it - then send to they a request to make support for this camera ... ( and i have no other ideas )
